I believe therapy should be comprised of what I call the "3 Cs”: compassion, curiosity, and clarity. My commitment to you is to always come from a compassionate and non-judgmental place. During our work together, we will work on you developing the highest level of compassion for yourself and navigate uncomfortable and painful feelings of shame, confusion, guilt, anger, regret, hopelessness, and simply feeling “not good enough.” Curiosity is a fundamental part of our work. I will encourage you to ask yourself: ‘Why do I feel this way?’ ‘Why do I have this relationship?’, ‘Why do I engage in this behavior, when I know it’s bad for me?
By staying curious and seeking answers, you gain insight and clarity, enhancing self-awareness and empowering yourself. This helps improve emotional regulation. I will equip you with practical skills through the use of DBT. I support individuals and couples in achieving freedom and finding relief from both external pressures and internal conflicts.
My approach is to reduce suffering as much as possible, while acknowledging that some level of suffering is an inherent part of life. I hope to create a sacred and welcoming space for therapy—a warm, safe, and collaborative environment where you can comfortably step in and out each week, with me supporting you every step of the way.
