My ideal client is the person whose life has not turned out the way he or she thought it would. He or she is unhappy, unsatisfied, engaged in unhealthy patterns and unsuccessful relationships, and feels helpless, hopeless, confused, and overwhelmed. I believe everyone has the power to make positive changes in their lives. My job is to hear them and guide them toward that change.
I have provided psychotherapy to clients for over twenty years. Sometimes people get stuck in a negative pattern of thinking or behaving which blocks their progress in life. Cognitive therapy is the vehicle that moves them out and toward their goals of leading more productive, less stressful lives.
I strive to provide a judgment free zone where clients feel accepted. In this space, clients have the freedom to express their feelings and think more clearly about solutions available to them. On a more personal note, My husband and I celebrated 41 years of marriage and we have three adult sons.
