While I believe that the soul can be a locus of pain, vulnerable to devastation – I also believe that in tending to the many truths of this pain with curiosity and therapeutic collaboration that the soul can also become a locus of transformation where healing takes place. I provide an empathetic and non-judgmental setting where issues of anxiety, depression, challenging relationships, traumatic history, existential loneliness, longing, and belonging can be intricately tended to and shifted.
My approach is psychodynamic, and I listen for the ways an individual’s past relates to their present-day behaviors, thought patterns, and relationship dynamics. I strive to create a welcoming space where circumstances are understood through the intersection of intergenerational emotional inheritance, myriad identities, and personal narratives.
My aim is to work alongside clients to gain greater understanding of themselves, allowing for strengthened agency, vitality, and creativity. I am attuned to the vulnerability therapeutic work takes and welcome all clients who seek to engage in this practice.
