In Marriage and Family Therapy, I work with individuals, couples and families struggling with relationship problems, anxiety, trauma and emotional pain that hinder the quality of their lives. Adolescence can be a turbulent time. I have worked with teenagers for 17 years in youth ministry helping them find answers to spiritual questions as well as helping them with depression, anxiety and self- esteem issues. As a lawyer and certified court mediator, I also have experience in working with families and couples, guiding them to peaceful dispute resolutions to their problems.
As a volunteer chaplain, I journeyed alongside families of all faiths, assisting them in coming to terms with terminal illness, care giver fatigue, and end of life issues. My style is warm and relational. I use multiple modalities to help clients realize unhealthy thought patterns, cognitive distortions, and unexplored alternatives.
