I work with clients in understanding their context and facilitate a safe place to explore issues and choices. Anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma can be alleviated by being able to be present with the pain/fears/agitation and developing skills and self-awareness to make behavior changes to support wellness.
My training is strength-based and multicultural-focused, and includes experiences working at university, community mental health, and hospital settings. I enjoy working with college students and graduate students and specialize in working with doctoral students in managing the anxiety and barriers in completing their dissertations.
