I specialize in working with young adults and adults. I am passionate about working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, self-esteem/body image, and other mental health concerns. During my work with clients, I use a trauma-informed approach that is rooted in acceptance and meeting the client where they are at in the present moment. I believe in a collaborative method where I work side by side with my client to set goals for therapy and identify coping skills that draw from their own unique personal strengths.
Some of the evidence-based techniques I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.
I strive to provide a non-judgmental, supportive environment where clients feel safe to express themselves and feel empowered to take the tools discovered in therapy and apply them to their everyday lives.
