I believe that we have a natural capacity to grow and adapt. We do not always choose our challenges in life (though sometimes we do!), and those challenges might inhibit our ability to heal. Whatever your circumstances are, you can choose to walk a path of healing. I create and maintain a safe and open space where you can find that path…and then find it again if you wander off it.
I specialize in connection. Most people crave connection with others, but those relationships can be challenging. I practice and teach effective communication by encouraging authentic expression of emotions and thoughts.
For 25 years, I've worked with people who have Depression, Bipolar I and II Disorders, Anxiety, relationship issues, and more. I was a hospice social worker, sitting with the dying and counseling the bereaved. I welcome those who are LGBTQ+. I welcome all races. I welcome law enforcement and first responders.
