Many of us have a critical inner voice that tells us how not-enough we are. I know that voice well; after all, criticism may as well have been my parents’ love language. I’m also familiar with the ongoing work it takes to turn that inner voice into one of compassion, respect, and acceptance. I regard you as a whole person and know that you see me as one too, and I believe we heal by showing compassion to all our parts and learning to live authentically.
My approach to therapy is in-depth, humanistic, and often existential, identifying how we get in our own way and what residual traumas we’ve carried with us from our past. I work primarily by creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can grow by developing insight into yourself, your past, and your patterns.
