Whether it’s your partner or family member, when you feel disconnected from the one you love most, it can be extremely painful. My specialty is adult love and creating bonding experiences in couples and families. Helping people repair and reconnect after times of distress is my passion. I help couples heal their wounds from the past through emotional re-engagement and responsiveness. This allows them to move forward in a healthier way, so the past doesn’t keep sabotaging their present and future.
The ultimate goal is increasing security, closeness, and connection in intimate relationships. Emotional connection is the key to lasting love. Communication skills and behavioral changes are not enough to deepen your relationship with your loved one. I help couples better understand their partners’ emotional responses, as well as their own.
I also specialize in addiction treatment. I enjoy helping couples overcome addiction in relationships. Family support and involvement can play a vital role in an addict’s recovery. I offer family therapy to aid in the recovery process. I conduct interventions with addicts and their families.
