I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who has been in the Human Service field since 2009. Upon graduating with my Master’s Degree from Bay Path University in 2017 with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling I began working with adults in a residential setting, then moved on to working with teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a therapeutic day/residential program. My experience with a diverse population has afforded me a wealth of experience and knowledge which in turn can be valuable for my clients.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) has been a strong interest of mine since beginning graduate school in 2013. DBT focuses on gaining skills to manage difficult emotions, improve interpersonal skills, increase distress tolerance as well as empower clients to be more present in their day to day lives.
My overall approach includes providing a non-judgmental space to provide active listening, skill building and developing insight into a person's experiences, and developing strategies to manage a person’s environment. I recently became a board-certified clinical supervisor and enjoy collaborating, educating, and supervising peers in the field.
