When trauma or stressors occur in life, we often become split off, or dissociated from the core self. Our core self, also known as the authentic self, is one that resides fully and naturally within all of us. It is place where we find a deep sense of compassion for ourselves and others, a place filled with creativity, wisdom, curiosity, and a sense of ease.
The gentle and attuned experiential therapy I do with clients is aimed at helping them reintegrate and reconnect with split of parts of the self in order to reclaim the natural vitality within. Through the therapeutic process anxious and depressive states are relieved, as individuals find ways to reconnect and be with their authentic self.
