I deem myself a counselor, rather than a therapist, one who provides counsel through education, support, guidance, and feedback, with a directive and accountable style. By providing "bumpers," we can work together to identify and dismantle the barriers to living out your intentions.
My specialty is supporting people who use (whether it's an issue or not) or have used substances/alcohol, or has a loved one whose substance use has impacted you. It's simply about asking yourself the role substances play in your life and evaluating that relationship. My background is in treatment, I embrace those seeking or in recovery!
