"The wound is the place where the light enters you"-Rumi. Sometimes our emotions or our wounds may seem unmanageable, too painful, and overwhelming. Recognizing and searching out help/support can be incredibly difficult, so for anyone who is struggling now, but has taken the first step to look for help I acknowledge how difficult that is. I have experience working with a wide range of clients. However my main focus is working with children and families, and persons who have experienced trauma, domestic violence, and sexual abuse.
My approach is grounded in the Humanistic perspective, and is client centered, I believe in meeting the individual were they are at. I incorporate aspects of a variety of evidence based therapeutic practices/interventions to assist with the person's identified needs,
