Is your child or teen struggling to manage their emotions or having a hard time paying attention in class? I am here to help! I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern; Masters in Social Work graduate from Florida State University. I have spent most of my career in the child welfare system assisting a very vulnerable population navigate an extremely challenging time. As a licensed foster parent I have gained a unique experience working with children and teens; but also parenting alongside biological parents to better understand their child’s specific needs.
I enjoy working with a wide variety of mental health issues including trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, school/social issues and transitional challenges. I will also see adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, marital troubles, childhood trauma and parenting struggling. Supporting a parent is a very important part of the process.
I take a holistic approach and evaluate not only the individuals’ internal factors but also external. I use a variety of strategies tailored specifically for each client I work with, to ensure personal growth. Together we will work on deepening the connection you or your child has with themselves and with others. I look forward to meeting you.
