I am also passionate about helping people heal and recovery from trauma. Many challenges come with trauma, especially complex trauma which happens over time, often within relationship. Trauma impacts our relationship with ourselves, others, and the world. My ideal client is someone who wants to recover and work towards building the life they want for themselves. I strongly believe in coming alongside you and helping you find your own path.
Everything I do is focused on you and the goals you want to work towards. I am trained in EMDR which is proven to be effective in the treatment of trauma. I use a client-centered, attachment focused approach and incorporate other models that support healing the nervous system and allowing the brain and body to process trauma and mental health challenges.
From my own journey I understand the challenges that come with managing mental health and have become passionate about helping others find their own journey to recovery. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am uniquely positioned to support other LGBTQ+ individuals as they navigate cultural and religious challenges.
