I am a trauma-focused therapist who works primarily with active duty service members, reservists, and veterans. I enjoy helping service members reach their full potential by processing through their past traumas and developing skills needed to enhance their daily lives. I have experience and enjoy working with first responders, including police officers, firefighters, and nurses.
My approach is eclectic, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to address your concerns. I am solution-focused with trainings in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT-Insomnia, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. I also use skills from DBT, mindfulness, somatic therapy, ACT, and Gottman Method.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working extensively with active duty military personnel, veterans, first responders, and high-functioning individuals dealing with mental health symptoms. I understand the unique challenges and experiences faced by these populations and am committed to providing specialized support tailored to their needs.
