Hi there! I'm glad you are here. My name is Casey Kohn and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my master's in counseling from California State University Fullerton and have been practicing for 6 years. I help clients of all ages manage the various challenges of life by exploring their true selves and working towards achieving their full potential. I love working with a wide variety of client populations and believe that each age and stage in life presents unique challenges. I see these challenges as opportunities to grow and develop into the best version of oneself.
I believe in the inherent goodness of people and will create a safe environment for you to explore personal beliefs and experiences with empathy and acceptance. I use a humanistic, client-centered approach in working with clients and utilize techniques and interventions from cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and attachment theory.
I provide a warm, empathic, safe space so that my clients can feel free and comfortable to be themselves. I am authentic and genuine, and often use humor in my work.
