Hello and welcome. So let's start by dispelling the common misconception that therapy is for the weak and broken. This could not be more untrue. Therapy is for the bold and intrepid. Therapy is for those who are unwilling to accept how things are and choose instead to brave the roads less traveled in search of something better. So whether your dissatisfaction lies in patterns that you can't seem to break free of, turbulent relationships with partners, family or friends, or in the daunting challenges posed by depression, anxiety, grief et al., your insistence for change not only should never be shamed, it should be deeply admired.
And it’s through the lens of that admiration that I listen to and engage with the stories and perspectives of each person that I team with. And together we identify and explore the places that rub, and like sociologists, consider how and why they started rubbing in the first place, so that the adjustments you make have both immediate and life-long benefits.
My atypical approach to therapy has led my clients and colleagues to refer to me as a "profound and outside of the box" thinker. I appreciate this designation, not because I'm trying to be a revolutionary, but because I consider myself an evolutionary - an adaptable helper in an ever changing and challenging world.
