I am passionate about helping people create change in their lives through the process of psychotherapy and have 20+ years of experience as a counseling professional. My clients learn to shift and expand their patterns of thought and behavior to lead to an increased awareness into themselves and others. These changes lead to better relationships and a healthier life. Therapy is a commitment to yourself to create a more meaningful, balanced, and fulfilling life and together we can learn new ways of coping with life's challenges.
I have extensive training in Mind-Body techniques and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help people learn better ways of coping with stress, anxiety and depression. Good communication is key to setting boundaries and having healthy relationships and you will learn new ways of communicating your wants, needs, and desires.
Research has shown that creating a trusting, therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in effective counseling. I understand that counseling is a big step for someone to take and I will provide a comfortable, safe place to take that first step toward changing your life and your relationships.
