I offer holistic client-centered psychotherapy to individuals and couples with: Conflict in relationships, feelings of disconnection, social anxiety, depression, low-self-esteem, lack of motivation or satisfaction, postpartum depression and anxiety, excessive worry, generalized anxiety, memory loss, cognitive impairment, dementia, difficult life transitions, grief and loss, chronic medical conditions and pain, substance and behavioral addictions, unwanted habits, and caregiver stress and burnout. I have a passion for social justice, equality and offer affirmative psychotherapy for those identifying within the LGBTQIA community.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential, Solution-Focused, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness approaches to meet you wherever you are in the process. I have specialized training in Substance and Process Addictions, assessment and treatment. Teens and young adults have become the majority of my practice, both online and in-person.
I received my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College. I have all but completed my dissertation for a Psy.D. in Clinical Neuropsychology from Pacific University. I was born and raised in the PNW. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I trained as a pilot and flew Search and Rescue missions along the Oregon Coast and Cascade Mountain Range.
