Carrie received her masters in counseling from regent university Virginia Beach, Virginia in 2016. She is licensed in Tennessee as a licensed professional counselor (LPC-MHSP) and has worked in the counseling field for 5 years treating a variety of mental health issues in children, adolescents, and adults. Carrie has worked in residential and outpatient treatment settings. She has experience with, and is passionate about, working with adolescents, young adults, and adults with eating disorders. Carrie also has experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, and trauma, substance abuse, and more.
Carrie particularly enjoys working with adolescent and adult women struggling with disordered eating behaviors. Carrie uses behavioral interventions to address problematic behaviors, and to assist clients in developing insight and coping skills to decrease behaviors interfering with work, school, relationships, and other important areas of functioning.
