Dr. Carrie George is a Psychologist in Texas who has been practicing since 1996. She has a Ph.D. in Psychology from Texas A&M University. As a psychologist Dr. George works to empower her clients with the tools needed to make impactful change in their mental health functioning. Being trained as both a School and Clinical Psychologist is beneficial with the population she serves (ages 0-25) because Dr. George is able to help families navigate and advocate for the client's needs within the multiple systems they encounter (i. e. , schools, psychiatric facilities, the family).
With specialties in treating serious mental illness, chronic medical conditions, developmental disorders, and early childhood trauma, Dr. George also provides a thorough understanding and compassion for assisting clients with unique disorders. Outside of work, Dr. George enjoys travel, art, and hiking.
