Do you treat yourself poorly when you make a mistake or experience failure? Do you often notice that you have self-critical thoughts and beliefs? Do you have past experiences or traumas that may be hindering your ability to practice self-compassion? Feelings are sometimes hard to explain and even harder to deal with. Understanding why you feel a certain way can help you regain control over yourself and how you respond. My passion is helping those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions understand their feelings better and how to control their impulses.
My counseling style is direct and interactive. I believe in helping people work through the areas they feel most stuck. I also believe that as humans we are extremely strong and have the ability to overcome even the worst life circumstances to fully become who we were meant to be.
