Clients often experience challenges that manifest in anxiety, depression, substance abuse and relational issues. They need a supportive clinician that can hold space for them to do the self-exploration and reflection needed to experience healing. I find that these issues usually stem from early relational wounds. Understanding the root cause for distress can be the most impactful and sustainable approach to long-term healing. I am passionate about helping my clients establish a greater sense of self so that they can thrive in their relationships and their lives.
I utilize an eclectic, client-centered approach to treatment. I often utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) to work with my client's trauma. I like tailoring my approach specifically to what my clients need and enjoy. The client is the expert on their story, and together, we collaboratively create a healing plan.
I feel deeply for others, and offer a soft, gentle approach. The therapeutic journey can be intimidating at the start, and I create a safe, supportive space for personal exploration. I am passionate about helping others find the joy, peace and fulfillment they are looking for in their lives.
