My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that each human person has an innate wholeness and the resilience to heal. This is why my approach is client-centered, relational and holistic, encompassing body, mind and spirit. By meeting you where you are in your life, with compassionate psychotherapeutic care and deep listening, I work together with you on your goals and assist you in experiencing improved feelings of well-being and deeper meaning in life.
My specialty is the integration of psychology and spirituality which informs my approach and invites you to make deeper healing and meaning in your life. I have a MS in Pastoral Care and Counseling and a Master of Divinity Degree. I am also a certified Spiritual Direction Counselor with a Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Direction.
My background includes inpatient and outpatient psychotherapy. I also have experience as a hospital and hospice chaplain, family therapist, and as a primary addictions counselor. I have worked with persons from many different ethnic, cultural and religious traditions in a variety of clinical settings, deepening my specialty in the integration of counseling psychology and spirituality.
