I believe we have the innate ability to live in pure bliss and peacefulness even if we have had traumatic histories or we currently are experiencing something painful in our lives. I did not always believe pure bliss was possible and used to subscribe to the pathological view of mental health which I was taught in school. But what I’ve learned through my years of experience, both as a client and a therapist, is that if we look for pathology we see pathology and people will never truly reach their full potential.
Yet if we shift the paradigm and expand our consciousness, we begin to release limiting beliefs, fearful thinking, big emotions, and tense muscles. And then something interesting happens – our bodies relax, our breathing deepens, our mind stills, and we experience a peace residing within ourselves and this peace begins to expand.
Once we have a felt sense of this peace, our emotions, beliefs, and experiences lose their power to upset us. Inner Peace Group - Monday AM or PM
You can live life free of suffering by learning to cultivate inner joy and peace. This requires learning a paradigm shift in how the world is perceived. In this group, you will learn to become the inner observer, stop fear-based thoughts, release blocked emotions, relax into wholeness, and cultivate inner peace and joy. We will do this by reading Michael Singer’s living untethered and journaling in the untethered soul guided journal. Group will consist of discussion and mindfulness practice and will foster camaraderie, support, and encouragement. Group is covered by most insurance and meets in Norton Shores.
