Parenthood is seldom what we expect it to be and can often be intertwined with immense feelings of grief, resentment, and overwhelm. Those feelings can often make us question ourselves, feel incapable and leave us unsure of where to turn to next. As a therapist, I love championing women as they navigate varying stages of life and believe every person deserves an authentic and empathic space where they can feel heard, understood, safe and empowered.
I'm passionate about supporting clients that are navigating the peaks and valleys of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. My specialties include birth trauma, high-risk pregnancy, pregnancy loss and postpartum rage. I also enjoy supporting clients that are navigating the pressures of being a working parent.
I emphasize a collaborative approach and believe that a trusting relationship is at the center of the therapeutic process. I aim to meet my clients where they are and have an approach that's genuine and compassionate. I approach therapy from a holistic framework and utilize techniques from CBT, DBT, mindfulness and narrative therapy.
