Hello! I’m Carolyn, a licensed independent clinical social worker practicing in West Virginia since 2019. I strive to create a comfortable, supportive, and empowering environment for clients to be able to open up and feel a connection. I understand the difficulty of admitting that you need to discuss concerns with someone outside of your support system, therefore I prioritize practicing with warmth and compassion while utilizing a strengths-based approach to best fit the needs of my clients. I have worked with individuals of all ages, and currently I am providing individual therapy services to clients who are ages 12 and up.
I have experience with the following treatment modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Therapy. I also have experience in treating anxiety/anxiety-related disorders, depression/mood disorders, trauma and related disorders, personality disorders, stress, grief/loss, and ADHD.
