Hi- I am Carolyn and I can help inspire you to create a flourishing future! Life’s challenges come in all different packages and everyone’s cultural foot print is different. Therefore, through the counseling process we learn from the past and create an invigorating future. I enjoy working with both individuals and couples. I assist client’s with anxieties, addiction, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma related issues, and more. I also work with couples to build healthy and strong relationships.
A little about my background- I graduated from the University of North Texas with a BBA in Personal Management and Organizational Behavior. Life took me in a different direction, to become a counselor. My journey began to embrace a second career. I then attended and graduated with a MA in Counseling from Amberton University.
I want to share with you some of the tools and modalities I use in therapy, this includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and a Humanistic Approach.
