I work with clients who are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD, or who are going through challenging life transitions. I also specialize in treating perinatal mental health concerns. The clients I work with are typically looking for coping skills that they can use to navigate life's challenges. I use evidence-based treatments that are supported by research, while also working to create a warm and supportive therapy environment. In addition to my work as a therapist, I'm a part-time instructor at Georgia State University, where I teach doctoral students in clinical psychology.
I take a collaborative approach to therapy that is tailored to each client's needs and preferences. My approach to therapy is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have also received specialized training in Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and perinatal mental health.
The therapy relationship is a key component of healing, and it's important to find a therapist who you can connect with. Please reach out to learn more about how I may be of help.
