What provides you with a sense of creativity, meaning and purpose? As a therapist, I view my role as a catalyst to help reduce the inner obstacles to psychic growth and development. I want to reduce feelings of inadequacy, fear, sadness, shame and depression. I want to help you feel kinder towards both yourself and others.
I am a licensed clinical social worker, a graduate of the Institute for Expressive Analysis, and a licensed psychoanalyst with over forty years of experience. I have also studied Creative Arts Therapy at Pratt Institute and Jungian dream analysis. My experience includes work with clients of all ages, from preschool to the elderly, in a variety of settings
I am interested in easing the pain of loss and trauma, nurturing clients' personal and professional growth, and providing affordable services to those seeking therapy or supervision. At present, I can provide telephone sessions, in-person sessions in downtown Brooklyn, or a hybrid. By the end of the year, I also expect to provide video sessions via Zoom.
