I completed my BA in English and Journalism from Wake Forest University and my M.S.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Pennsylvania. My studies were multiculturally informed and focused on serving LGBTQIA+ individuals, providing mental health care to underserved communities, and relationship/intimacy counseling. I am currently a resident in counseling working towards LPC licensure in the state of Virginia. My aim is to create a brave space for you to feel safe being vulnerable without judgment. I provide a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach.
I currently specialize in working with individuals who identify as, or are questioning if they are, LGBTQIA+. I have experience using tools from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am LGBTQIA+ and ethical/consensual non-monogamy affirming.
