My name is Carolina Sagastume and I have been working as a bilingual (Spanish/English) mental health therapist for the past 16 years. I currently hold an active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 52852) and have extensive experience providing individual, family, and group therapy. I have found that my style and approach are a good fit with adolescents, young adults, and older adults who may be experiencing different challenges in life. I work with anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.
My approach is client-centered, strength-based, and culturally affirming. I believe it is important to meet you right where you are at on your mental health journey. In my practice I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, Solution Focused Therapy, and a trauma-focused approach.
