I also enjoy incorporating mindfulness strategies as a tool of empowerment to manage moments of distress.
My goal is to provide an affirming, culturally sensitive, and safe “space” for exploration and skill-building. The outcome of therapy is empowerment - the empowerment that allows one to understand oneself and others, learn new skills, or perhaps arrive at acceptance.
