Do you know what you are looking for in a therapist? You are probably reading this because you are considering talking to someone about your anxiety/depression, work/relationship, life transition, or possibly trauma or bereavement issues. I am a NYS licensed psychologist and treat these and many other issues. I work with highly successful people who have problems, in addition to those who want to do better in their lives, and those with more serious problems. I provide clients a supportive working relationship because I am an excellent listener and like what I do, in addition to benefiting from doctoral training.
I offer a brief, free phone consultation. In our first session we would talk about what is working and not working in your life; you can talk as much or as little as you like. We can decide if it makes sense to continue working together.
I will get information about your history, but also focus on current issues that can be changed. I like helping people re-connect with their areas of strength that they may have forgotten. I enjoy working with people from different ethnic backgrounds and walks of life.
