Many of the issues that effect a person, are a product of experiences and the environment. I help a person to explore their thoughts and feelings, which will help glean a better understanding of those issues. With the knowledge and tools they acquire, they can then begin to build a life with more understanding and acceptance. In my counseling practice I work with children, teens, individuals, individuals with ASD and veterans. I specialize in dealing with depression, anxiety, self-esteem and trauma. I also bring years of experience working as a high school teacher with adolescents.
While I have worked with agencies, I am currently within a school setting as the Mental Health Counselor on staff. I also enjoy meeting individuals privately, who are currently on their journey to overcoming obstacles, by providing coping tools and assistance. I am available for online and F2F sessions.
I feel that you know yourself better than anyone else can. I hope to provide a comfortable space for you to process and expand an understanding of your own gifts and experiences. I am simply a mediator for you to find your own strength. I am flexible in my approach and have an office, or can meet outdoors. I can also provide virtual sessions.
