I have been in private practice as a marriage and family therapist for 35 years. I have worked with a wide variety of issues: chemical dependency, codependency, abuse of all kinds, depression, family stress, and communication. I do individual, couple, family, and group therapy. I use an eclectic, client-centered approach, focusing on what individuals want to achieve in their therapy.
I have done teaching on myriad different subjects such as all of the issues listed above, meditation, and mind body approaches to wellness.
I am certified in Energy Psychology and trained in EMDR. Both of these approaches offer rapid relief from depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have trained extensively with John Gottman on his approach to couples therapy.
