When depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or current and past trauma are affecting your life, finding a counselor who "fits" you can be an additional challenge. My approach begins with establishing a relationship of trust with you as the foundation of working together to find a path through life's difficulties. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful and accepting space in which you can move, with your own wisdom, toward healing, growth, or change. I enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds: teens, adults, couples and families in Spanish or English.
I am currently utilizing telehealth to address mental health needs during this time of social distancing. I have had additional training and work well with clients who are dealing with depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, sexual abuse, and domestic violence.
I believe therapy can be an aid to deal with the emotions, fears, and, sometimes, befuddlement that arise within us during this time of great uncertainty in our world.
