My practice is dedicated to making clients feel relaxed so that they are comfortable talking about their feelings and understand that they are being heard and validated. My office is in a quiet setting unlike a doctors office and we often take walks in abutting bogs with my therapy dog Lulu an English lab. My goal is to work with the client to establish an individualized treatment plan with their specific goals and timeline considered and provide strategies and coping skills they can utilize in the future
In practice for over 30 years, I have extensive experience in acute crisis intervention, diagnostic evaluation, family and couples therapy, and counseling and treatment of adolescents as well as issues of self medicating with alcohol and/or substances. I also have experience providing therapy for public safety professionals and their families.
