Are you looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or just ready to move in a new direction in your life? My aim is to provide clients with compassion, support and skills necessary to live more satisfying lives. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, life transitions and stress management. My practice includes psychotherapy with adolescents, adults, and groups.
My training and experience allows me to utilize a variety of psychotherapeutic methods including, cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention (for OCD), psychodynamic, positive psychotherapy, mindfulness/relaxation training. I have also been trained through the OCD Foundation's Behavior Therapy Training Institute.
I approach counseling with optimism and believe that everyone has the ability to reach his or her goals. My clients value my warm, non-judgmental, attentive manner. In working with eating disorders I believe in strong connections with other professionals making it possible to utilize a team approach.
