I offer support for individuals wondering how to free themselves from limiting narratives, questioning the connection between past experiences and current patterns, processing grief from loss or major life change, and seeking healing from intergenerational trauma. “Your coping behaviors show you what needs witnessing, caring for, and unburdening. If we can just approach them with curiosity and compassion, we might find what is underneath it all.” (Natalie Gutiérrez, LMFT) I offer an approach that leads with compassion and curiosity and support you while learning to hold this for yourself.
My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, grief/loss/bereavement, complex trauma, chronic illness, and adoption. My approach centers a trauma informed, compassion focused, mindfulness based, and social justice lens. As a BIPOC therapist I am passionate about supporting BIPOC individuals and strive to uplift the needs of all marginalized identities.
