The mental health journey is a difficult one, but not impossible or one you have to do alone. As a mental health clinician I'd like to be a stepping stone in your healing. Stepping stone because I'd like to help you on the journey, and provide tools for you to be self-sufficient. My approach to helping others is best summarized in the following quote; "The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am , then I can change" by Carl Rogers . I work to help others truly, honestly and kindly see themselves. By doing so we then work to making the necessary and desired changes to live the life they hope for.
I hope to lend a helping and accepting hand in this journey that is so new to many of us. I offer help with anxiety, depression and self - esteem issues along with other concerns. También soy bilingue si se necesitan hacer las citas en español.
Although it can be scary to step in to our past or face the now its not impossible. Through our counseling sessions I will help with unraveling wounds from our past by using self soothing skills and providing a safe space. This isn't a journey you have to start alone. Its one that I'd be more than happy to walk along with you.
