Hi there! I am a therapist at Grit Therapy who works with individuals and couples of all ages and backgrounds. I help those experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, stress, loneliness, and more. As an active travel guide, yoga teacher, and outdoor therapist, my true passion lies in the combination of nature, movement, and mental health therapy - a practice commonly known as "eco-" or "adventure-" therapy. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and focuses on the individual needs of each unique client.
Research has shown, and I firmly believe, that reconnecting our minds and bodies with nature is a powerful way to regulate, heal, and grow, so I offer walk-and-talk sessions, as well as trail running/biking/and skiing sessions. I also offer EMDR therapy to help clients overcome their past experiences in order to live happier, more fulling lives.
