I have practiced psychotherapy since 1985 and it my privilege to be in a "people-helping" profession. I work with a rich diversity of individual people from all walks of life in the search for healing, wholeness and meaning in life.
Psychotherapy begins in many places -- a life crisis, the loss of a loved one, a restlessness to find a better expression of one's deeper self. I hope to become "somebody you can talk to" in an empathetic, supportive relationship. I rely upon the insights of psychology and spirituality in the therapy process.
My original training is psychoanalytic, but I use various approaches that seem appropriate for each individual's needs, goals and personality: psychodynamic, interpersonal and brief therapy. I welcome your inquiries if you would like to discuss an initial consultation with me.
