Accepting New Clients! My primary focus is working with young adults who are struggling with the challenges of emerging into adulthood while also battling depression, anxiety, mood instability, and other such symptomology. However, I also work with adults of all ages. My approach is to assist clients with developing insight into themselves and their surroundings while increasing coping and life skills through Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which decrease these symptoms and increase quality of life.
Since 2004, I have worked in a variety of treatment settings, including Inpatient Psychiatry, Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Programs, and Outpatient Clinics with individuals & groups. From this experience, I have developed a skill set that can apply to a variety of clinical needs. I look forward to using this knowledge to assist in your journey.
I am DBT certified, yet also offer an integrative approach, incorporating different evidenced based therapies to provide the most effective treatment for each client. I balance validating clients while challenging and leading them toward change and growth. Conclusively, I use a strengths perspective as a foundation to empower clients.

CURRENT OPENINGS! This group provides a peer community where young adults can develop skills to decrease anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, and other such symptoms while navigating the stressors of "adulting." This group includes a combination DBT skills training (along with CBT, ACT, and other therapy modalities) and process group therapy. The process portion of group gives clients the opportunity to openly and safely share their emotions & thoughts about life stressors, existential beliefs, relationships, and life purpose as they are navigating becoming an adult. Additionally, this group assists with organically improving social and interpersonal skills, while providing positive peer accountability & support.

CURRENT OPENINGS! Are you battling depression, anxiety, and/or mood issues as a young adult? If so, this may be the group for you. This group is a combination of teaching DBT (DBT certified) & CBT skills, working on implementation of skills, and processing the struggles and successes in doing so. These skills help decrease symptoms, increase independence, improve relationships, regulate emotions, and assist in managing stress. Group also provides peer connection and support. Not feeling alone can significantly increase our ability to improve our mental health. If individual therapy has not been enough, then group may be what you need!
