Counseling can be a challenging yet enjoyable process of exploration, discovery, and healing. My hope and intention is create a warm, comfortable and safe environment that meets your needs for change, support, growth, and/or healing. I am experienced in trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, ADHD, and self-harm. I work with adolescents, adults and couples, and adopt a thoughtful, trauma-informed approach with clients. I have also received specialized training in EMDR therapy.
My client's often tell me that they appreciate my down-to-earth approach with them. I always attempt to meet my client's where they are at, and not expect them to adjust to a style or method of therapy. My goal is to support you as you heal.
We will discuss your concerns, goals and hopes for your future. I will walk alongside you as we explore topics such as trauma, stress from parenting, relationships or life-transitions. We will always work at pace that is comfortable for you.
