I come from a psychodynamic and attachment lenes in which to explore oneself deeper and make connections to current behaviors. Through increased awareness and understanding of ourselves, I believe we can gain the power necessary to change that to which is causing difficulties in our lives. I have a passion for helping others gain greater awareness and insight into their lives.
I specialize in working with adults, couples, and adolescents. Areas of focus are depression, anxiety, family issues, self-esteem, relationship conflict, anger management, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. I believe that through uncovering and understanding past experiences we find insight into our current behaviors. Powerful change is in sight.
My approach is psychodynamic, with an emphasis on family systems and attachment. Understanding one's history and family of origin gives a good picture of factors that influenced our lives.
