I've had years of experience helping people from young to old try to make sense of so many experiences that can affect all of us. You are not alone. I specialize in trauma work and couples therapy, although I've had experience with people across the age ranges, in a variety of settings, and having struggles with many different issues.

Everyone deserves to be their best self and one of the most effective ways to do this is by talking with a therapist. My name is Ashley Quinn, and I am a therapist with North Canton Therapy Works where I specialize in working with individuals, families, and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, stress management, school and work issues, personality disorders, and communication skills. I love working with adults in all stages of life. My specialty interests include: gender and identity exploration, trauma, self-esteem, grief, anxiety and depression. I utilize treatment approaches that are evidence-based, affirming, and uniquely tailored to you.

Taking the first steps to reach out can be intimidating but I’m here to meet you where you’re at, determine what you need, and walk the next steps of your healing journey with you. I enjoy working with all ages and have worked in a variety of settings. I take a non judgmental, trauma informed, client centered, holistic approach to treating mostly trauma, anxiety, behavioral, and mood disorders. I am trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, stress management, attachment, LGBTQ+ support, teen/young adult issues, self harm/crisis, grief, and more. No problem is too big or too small, I believe anyone can benefit, with the right fit.

The first step towards making changes in your life and finding a counselor to help can be overwhelming! I offer my clients a non-judgmental and supportive environment filled with compassion to embark on their journey of change. I tailor the counseling process to fit each individual's needs. I feel it is paramount to create an atmosphere of trust where the client can be free to express their thoughts without judgement.

I specialize in working with children and parents to help the child to function at their absolute best and help parents know how to effectively guide and encourage them. Children can present with many issues such as anxiety, defiance, poor self-esteem, lack of impulse control, and poor decision-making skills. These and other problems can lead to various difficult issues such as poor problem solving, poor sleep habits, school issues, and sadness. I work with children using Cognitive Behavior Therapy to give children positive thinking and feeling skills. I also provide successful problem solving and coping tools.

I believe in change and trusting the process. Each client is on their journey and they will lead the way to ultimate healing. I am experienced and ready to guide you on your journey. I am experienced working in outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient in mental health and addiction with years of experience in each setting. I have spent years exclusively working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and persons with developmental disabilities and behavioral issues. My areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and behavioral issues.

Hello! I am a board-certified Dance/Movement Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I strive to assist my clients to move through challenging experiences by helping them with understanding the power of the mind/body connection. I started off working with teens and adolescents who struggled with behavioral issues at home and in the school setting. I have since ventured into working with adults and older adults who suffer from chronic illnesses.
