Reaching out to begin therapy can be both overwhelming and a hopeful time to begin something new. A time to create change in your relationships, work functioning, or day to day life. I take a holistic approach to therapy work and seek to understand each person within their environment, which allows us to work collaboratively on changes that feel attainable and sustainable. I like to start a session by offering a cup of coffee (or drink of your choice!) and sit down in open conversation steered by your needs at that moment. Laughter, tears, grief, and joy are some of the many welcomed and honored emotions in the therapeutic space.
I work with teens and adults with anxiety, depression, mood regulation, symptoms of PTSD/CPTSD, family challenges, and those who are in recovery from substance use. I provide therapeutic services based on my training and knowledge in DBT Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT and CBT Therapies, Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
I love spending time with my Australian Shepard, walking in nature, singing, and sipping on warm tea or coffee whenever I get the opportunity. I deeply value the joys found in living and I hope to be able to support you in finding those joys in your own life.
