My areas of focus includes working with adults, couples, and teens. For the past eight years I have accumulated experience working in residential and inpatient settings, community mental health, correctional settings, hospitals, and private practices. Through working in these settings, I have developed interests in treating mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, family of origin issues, gender identity and sexual orientation exploration, life transitions, and stress. I provide an integrative approach to care and take pride in tailoring the therapeutic work and relationship towards the specific needs of my client(s).
I employ an array of evidence-based practices including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems Theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I hold certifications in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1.
Our sessions are a nonjudgmental space where you can freely express yourself without fear of criticism. I’m here to listen and understand, not to judge. Your thoughts and feelings are valid, and our work will focus on respecting and validating your experiences. I am looking forward to working collaboratively on this journey with you.
